Give your French tips a little holographic glitz with this pretty fade

Does your current manicure leave something to be desired? Want to give yourself the glamour treatment? Nothing beats glitter when you need a little pick-me-up or a change of attitude. A traditional French tip manicure has its merits, but this version has all the makings of a celebration.

Start with a translucent pink base coat, and then add two different holographic products. The chrome powder gives your nails a shiny iridescent look, while the glitter makes this style party-worthy. Before getting started, pick up some disposable eye shadow applicators and a fluffy eye shadow brush. Having dedicated nail supplies makes the process go faster and won’t ruin your makeup essentials.

Materials
- Translucent pink gel (Born Pretty, Flower Wedding)
- LED lamp (Lumcrissy, not shown)
- No-wipe top coat (Cheri)
- Sponge eye shadow applicator
- Holographic chrome pigment powder
- Gel base coat (Orly GelFX)
- Fine holographic glitter
- Fluffy eye shadow brush

Instructions
1. Apply two coats of translucent pink gel to your nails, and cure it with the lamp.

2. Seal the colored gel with a layer of no-wipe top coat, and cure it with the lamp.

3. Dip the sponge eye shadow applicator into the holographic chrome powder, then apply it to your nail in gentle, pressing motions.

4. Seal the powder in place with a layer of gel base coat, and cure it with the lamp.

5. Dust fine holographic glitter onto the nail tip with a fluffy eye shadow brush.

6. Apply a final layer of no-wipe top coat to your nails, and cure it with the lamp.
