Have you ever wondered why you break out right before a big event? It seems like blemishes know when you want to look your best, and then they spring to the surface. If this sounds all too familiar, you probably need a way to cover them up, so you can look your best instantly. The following tutorial will help you do just that.
Blemishes require color correction because red often shows through most concealer or foundation products. Begin by neutralizing redness with orange-red lipstick. If you’ve never tried this before, you may be skeptical, but it does work. For pale-skinned beauties, try a similar color with less intensity, like peach or coral. Using skin-colored concealer instead of foundation will yield heavier coverage and more longevity, so try switching out your normal products when covering multiple blemishes.

Instructions
1. Outline your brows, and fill in sparse areas with an eyebrow pencil.
1. Outline your brows, and fill in sparse areas with an eyebrow pencil.
2. Dab orange-red lipstick onto blemishes with a buffing brush.
3. Apply the same lipstick under your eyes to correct dark circles.
4. Use the concealer applicator wand to apply skin-colored concealer under your eyes and on your forehead, nose and chin. Press the concealer into your skin with a foundation brush. Tip: Use patting motions instead of swirling the brush to prevent aggravating the blemishes.
5. Apply light-colored concealer with the applicator wand to brighten the under-eye area and emphasize the nose. Press the product into the skin with a damp beauty sponge.
6. Apply dark-colored cream foundation with a contouring brush to contour your face. Press the product into your skin below the cheekbones and along the upper perimeter of your face with a damp beauty sponge.
7. Apply a thick layer of loose yellow setting powder on your entire face, except for the areas you contoured in step 6. Press the powder into the concealer with a damp beauty sponge, but allow the excess powder to remain until step 9.
8. Swirl mineral bronzing powder on top of the contoured areas of your face with a cheek brush. Tip: Layering powder products over cream products will help set them and extend their wear time.
9. Dust off the loose yellow powder with a powder brush.
10. Sweep peachy nude eye shadow onto the crease of the eye with a blending brush. Tip: Sweep the brush in back-and-forth windshield wiper motions to diffuse the pigment.
11. Apply reddish brown eye shadow with the blending brush to intensify the outer corner of your eye.
12. Layer cool brown eye shadow over the reddish brown shade to give it more depth. Sweep the same color under the lower lashes to round out the look.
13. Apply black gel eyeliner on the outer third of the upper and lower lash lines, and then diffuse the pigment with a small eye shadow brush.
14. Coat your lashes with black mascara.
15. Hold the false lashes with the tweezers, and apply a small amount of lash glue onto the lash band. Let the glue set for 10 seconds, then apply the lashes just above your upper lashes.
16. Line your lips with rosy brown lip liner.
17. Fill in your lips with rosy brown lip gloss.
18. Dust coral-pink blush on the apples of your cheeks with the cheek brush.
