This glittery purple eye look is a party must

Party season is quite firmly upon us, and with it the constant pressures of putting together a fancier makeup look. Getting beauty-ready for a party can be stressful — choosing the right makeup look that will wow the crowds is no joke.
By going for glitter, you're already on to a winner. But if you want your super shiny eye look to be a little more grown-up and elevated, choose to stick to one tone, and go for an uber-glam cut crease that can take your look to the next level. This purple eye style is the perfect jumping-off point for any upcoming party look.

Instructions
1. Fill in your brows with a waxy pencil. Use a brow powder and an angled brush to add more volume. Set in place using a colored brow gel.
2. Prep your eyelids using a tinted primer.
3. Work a warm matte shade into the crease using a fluffy brush.
4. Using the same tinted primer on a detailer brush, color in the mobile lid of the eye, stopping at the crease.
5. On the same detailer brush, take a vibrant matte purple eye shadow, and begin to fill in the inner portion of the eyelid.
6. On a flat brush, take a shimmery lilac eye shadow, and press over the outer portion of the eyelid.
7. Line across the crease of the eye using a deeper blueish-purple kohl pencil.
8. Take a matte black eye shadow on a pencil brush, and smoke out this kohl line.
9. Using a fluffy brush and a matte mustard eye shadow, gently blend out this line further. This will add warmth and prevent it from looking stark.
10. Highlight your brow bone using a matte white shadow.
11. Use a flat eye shadow brush to press a loose holographic glitter over the eyelid.
12. Line the upper lash line with gel eyeliner and a brush, creating a subtle wing.
13. Use a flat kabuki brush to apply a matte, medium-coverage foundation across your whole face.
14. Apply concealer as needed using your fingertip.
15. Use a more luminous concealer to highlight the under-eyes.
16. Bake the under-eyes and the jawline using a loose matte setting powder.
17. Smoke out the lower lash line using an amethyst-toned shimmery shadow and a pencil brush.
18. Apply a peachy blush to the apples of your cheeks.
19. Highlight your cheekbones with a gold-toned highlighter powder.
20. Sweep off your bake using a fluffy face brush.
21. Contour your cheekbones and nose using a matte powder bronzer.
22. Fill in your lips using a mauve lip stain.
23. Line the waterline using a pale nude-toned kohl pencil.
24. Apply a shimmery white eye shadow as an inner corner highlight.
25. For even more drama, apply a pair of fluttery false eyelashes. Now you're ready for whatever the night throws at you!
