Step out in style as a neon goddess

If you own a large eye shadow palette and love to play with bright colors, you’re probably itching for an opportunity to flex your makeup muscles. Vibrant hues are more popular than ever, so why not go full-on goddess once in a while?

This makeup look is not for the faint of heart. You will attract attention. To create this look, combine orange and red eye shadow with blue and yellow eyeliner. False lashes are a must, but the blue wig is totally your call. Be sure to choose truly vivid eyeliner and lipstick, though. They will brilliantly contrast the matte eye colors and subtle cheek shades.

- Illuminating foundation primer (Smashbox Photo Finish Radiance Primer)
- Liquid foundation (L’Oréal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation)
- Foundation brush
- Concealer (Colourpop No Filter Matte Concealer)
- Damp beauty sponge
- Setting powder (Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Setting Powder)
- Brow pomade (NYX Tame & Frame Brow Pomade)
- Angled brow brush
- Bronzer (Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzer, Private Island)
- Cheek brush
- Blush (PÜR Cosmetics 4-in-1 Blush Book)
- Yellow beige cream eye shadow (MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot, Soft Ochre)
- Eye shadow brush

Instructions
1. Prepare your face for makeup by applying moisturizer with sunscreen.

2. For a radiant finish, apply illuminating foundation primer with your fingertips.

3. Even out your skin by applying liquid foundation with a foundation brush. Brush in downward strokes, and then stipple the product in to eliminate brush strokes.

4. Brighten the undereye area and bring light to the center of your forehead as well as your nose, cupid’s bow and chin by applying concealer with the applicator wand. Press the concealer into your foundation with a damp beauty sponge.

5. Prevent your concealer from creasing by applying setting powder with the beauty sponge. Pat and press the powder into your concealer.

6. Outline your brows and fill in missing hairs with brow pomade and an angled brow brush.

7. Give your face a sun-kissed glow by applying bronzer to your cheeks with a cheek brush.

8. Add a touch of color by sweeping blush onto your cheeks with the same brush used for bronzer.

9. Prime the entire eye area by applying yellow beige cream eye shadow with an eye shadow brush. Pat and press the product in, but do not sweep the brush back and forth.

10. Apply matte orange eye shadow on the outer corner and slightly above the crease of the eye with a blending brush.

11. Sweep matte red eye shadow onto the outer corner and just below the orange in the crease.

12. Create a wide wing with bright blue eye pencil. Start by drawing a diagonal line from the outer corner up toward the tail of your eyebrow. Draw a second line from the highest point of the wing back toward the lid. Fill in the lid with the same color.

13. Outline the entire blue wing with pastel yellow liquid eyeliner.

14. To further elongate the appearance of the eye, apply blue eye pencil below the tear duct.

15. Brush matte orange eye shadow below the lower lashes with a pencil brush.

16. Intensify the color beneath the lashes by layering matte red eye shadow on top of the orange.

17. Apply two coats of black mascara to your lashes.

18. Hold the false lashes with the tweezers, and apply a small amount of lash glue onto the lash band. Let the glue set for 10 seconds, then apply the lashes just above your upper lash line.

19. Apply round adhesive face gems in a parallel line beside the outside edge of the wing with tweezers.

20. Set your makeup by spritzing your face with setting spray.

21. Accentuate your cheekbones by brushing on gold highlighter with a tapered brush.

22. This step is optional, of course, but donning a brilliant blue wig will certainly amplify your goddess look.

23. Put the finishing touches on your neon look by applying hot pink lipstick.
