Glam up your everyday style for the holidays with this soft, seasonal look

With the holiday season right around the corner, it’s time to think about adding a little something extra to your beauty routine. Family gatherings and company parties mean pulling out all the stops, and this eye makeup look will give you a touch of glamour without requiring hours of work.
If you normally wear neutral shades or minimal makeup, you might be nervous about trying something that includes metallic shadow and false lashes. Don’t be, though. The combination of matte, metallic and liquid eye shadow mimics the effect of candlelight. For soft glamour, choose a pair of false lashes that fits your personal style.

Instructions
1. Define the outline of your brows, and fill in sparse areas with brown brow powder by using an angled brush.
2. Darken the brows further, and set them in place for the day by brushing brown eyebrow gel through them with the attached brush or with the angled brow brush.
3. Prime the lids for color by applying flesh-toned foundation with a flat concealer brush. Pat the product into your skin with your fingertips to eliminate brush marks.
4. Pat light copper frost eye shadow onto the lid with a small eye shadow brush. Avoid sweeping the brush back and forth, because this type of motion causes product fallout below the eye. Patting also deposits a heavier layer of color for better pigmentation.
5. Sweep matte tan eye shadow into the crease of your eye with a tapered eye shadow brush.
6. For extra sparkle, pat champagne gold liquid eye shadow onto the center of the lid with a small eye shadow brush.
7. Pat gold metallic highlighter onto the inner corner of the eye near the tear duct with a pencil brush.
8. Define your eye and make your upper lashes look denser by applying black liquid eyeliner along the lash line. Apply a small amount initially. You’ll have better control and will be less likely to make mistakes.
9. Apply one or two coats of black mascara to your upper and lower lashes. Wiggle the wand slightly at the base of the lashes, and then sweep the wand up to the tips.
10. Hold the false lashes with the tweezers, and apply a small amount of lash glue onto the lash band. Let the glue set for 10 seconds, and then apply the lashes just above your upper lash line.
