Refresh a nude manicure with watermelon 'fruiticles'

When the weather warms up, we tend to reach for something refreshing, like ice-cold lemonade or a juicy slice of watermelon. If you want to give your nude manicure a splashy twist of color, then painting fruiticles — fruity cuticles — is the way to go.
No one wants to spend hours painting nails, especially when outdoor fun beckons, so skip the complex manicure. Paint a nude base coat, and then use your cuticle as a guide for a sweet watermelon slice. Start with a watermelon half-moon, followed by a green and white rind and some black seeds. You'll be out the door in no time!

Instructions
1. Create a watermelon slice on the nail by painting a half-moon next to the cuticle using reddish-orange gel paint and a short round brush. Cure the wet gel with the lamp.
2. Paint a rind on the outer edge of the watermelon slice with green gel paint, then cure the gel with the lamp.
3. Create the pith by painting a thin half-moon inside the green rind using the white gel paint and the liner brush. Cure the gel with the lamp to set the paint.
4. Paint watermelon seeds using the black gel paint and the liner brush, and then cure the paint with the lamp.
5. Finish the design by applying a layer of no-wipe gel top coat to the nail. Cure the gel one last time with the lamp.
