Create ocean-inspired eyes

Neutral hues rule the workplace, but that doesn't mean you should avoid bold eye looks when you're on your own time. Brown-eyed lovelies look stunning in blue shadow, and this shimmery eye makeup look is super-fun and easy to achieve.
Since shimmery colors can look patchy or lack pigmentation, it's important to apply neutral cream eye shadow as a base first. Neutral cream eye shadow will help the shimmer adhere and make the color look more intense. Matte peach shadow warms up the crease by your eye, and fluffy false lashes round out the look.

Instructions
1. Fill in your brows using brow pomade and an angled brow brush. Diffuse the pigment, and fluff up the brow hair with a spoolie.
2. To create a base for your eye shadow that also covers discoloration, apply yellow-beige cream eye shadow from the lash line up to the brows using a small eye shadow brush. Tip: Cream shadow grips colored eye shadow better than regular eye shadow primer and helps ensure the color is true to the color in the pan.
3. Warm up the eye area by sweeping light peach eye shadow onto the crease with a fluffy blending brush. Buff the outer corner in circular motions, then sweep the shadow along the crease in windshield-wiper motions.
4. Pat sparkly blue eye shadow onto the lid with a silicone eye shadow applicator, then clean up the crease with a fluffy blending brush. Tip: If you're unable to find a silicone applicator, a foam eye shadow applicator will also work, but it may not pick up the shimmery shadow as well.
5. Intensify your upper and lower lash lines as well as the lower waterline by applying glittery blue eyeliner pencil. Use your fingertip to smudge the color just below the lower lash line to diffuse the product.
6. Apply one or two coats of black mascara to your upper and lower lashes.
7. Hold the false lashes with the tweezers and then apply a small amount of lash glue onto the lash band. Let the glue set for 10 seconds, then apply the lashes just above your upper lash line.
8. Complete and balance your stunning blue eye look by applying matte rose-beige lipstick to your lips.
