Making the most of your natural beauty is the guiding principle behind makeup. Each product serves to showcase your features, and cream contour sticks are remarkable for sculpting a jawline or cheekbone and making a wide forehead look slightly more rounded. If your skin tends to be dry, cream contour goes on easier and feels better than powder.
Technique matters when you're contouring, and the "3" (also known as "E") technique is a good starting place for most people. This video tutorial features Fenty Beauty's Match Stix Matte Skinstick, which works best when applied with the fingers. Instead of using a brush, swirl your fingers against the contour stick to gently warm and soften the product, then apply it to your face.

Blending is an absolute must, so use a damp beauty sponge to reduce the chances of wiping away your fresh contour. Watch the tutorial to see how it works, then give it a try yourself.

Instructions
1. If desired, apply foundation to even out your skin tone and prep your face for contouring.
1. If desired, apply foundation to even out your skin tone and prep your face for contouring.
2. Rub one or two fingers on the contouring stick to warm up the product, then apply it in a "3" or "E" shape on your face. Apply the product below your cheekbones, on the upper corners of your forehead and along the jawline.
3. Blend the cream with a damp beauty sponge until the pigment is diffused. Avoid dragging the contouring cream in a downward motion, because it will make the lower part of your face too dark.
4. Apply additional contouring cream, if desired, then blend the edges with the beauty sponge once more.
