How to properly bronze dark skin

If you’re avoiding the sun and using sunscreen diligently to protect your face from UV damage, then learning how to apply bronzer is a necessity. These products give the skin a warm glow and are used on the high points of the face, such as the upper cheekbones and forehead. When applied properly, they restore dimension that is sometimes flattened out by base makeup.
Powder bronzing products are the most common, but cream products can also be used to emphasize your facial structure. This tutorial shows you how to use both of them. Cream products can sometimes be difficult to blend, but a damp beauty sponge diffuses the pigment beautifully and helps it meld with your skin. When applying powder products, be sure to use a fluffy brush. This will spread the product over a wider surface, so you don’t look like you have a racing stripe on your face.

3. To deepen the color and prolong the wear of the cream-based product, apply bronzing powder on top by swirling a fluffy brush over the previous product. Tip: Brush the powder into your skin in small, circular motions. This will diffuse the product without disrupting the underlying color.
