Beat the heat with a glistening raindrop manicure

A bright, sunny day is nice, but there’s nothing like a summer rainstorm to rejuvenate your spirit. When the heat is on, you may feel like escaping, and this raindrop manicure might be just what you need, without even leaving your home.
This design has a lot going on. First, the violet polish transforms by using a magnet to create the “cat eye” line found in gemstones. Chameleon glitter gives the manicure a shade-shifting purple-green element. And because tactile designs still are trendy, add some raindrops with thick glitter-hugging clear top coat polish.

Instructions
1. Apply one coat of violet thermal cat eye gel to your nails, and put your hand into the gel lamp to cure the gel.
2. Layer a second coat of violet gel over the first, and hover the magnet above the nail to create the “cat eye” line. Cure the gel by sticking your hand in the lamp.
3. Dip the fluffy eye shadow brush into the glitter, and apply it near the cuticle of your nail.
4. Seal the glitter in place with a layer of no-wipe matte gel top coat, and cure the gel with the lamp.
5. Slip the ring palette onto your thumb, and place some clear top coat polish into the well.
6. Create raindrops by dabbing the dotting tool into the clear top coat polish and creating abstract drops on your nails. Cure with the lamp once more.
