Cream eye shadow is perfect for a daytime smoky eye

If your life is busier than ever, it can mean sacrificing the time at your battle station. Making up your face doesn’t need to be complicated, and this tutorial shows that you can achieve a softly smoky eye that’s perfect for daytime without spending hours in front of the mirror.
To create this look, taupe cream eye shadow fills the bill. Apply it straight from the tube when doing your upper eyelid, but switch to a brush when working in the smaller area below your eyes. Because coral works on nearly every skin tone, pop a bit of coral blush on your cheeks, and use nude coral lipstick for the finishing touch.

Instructions
1. Prepare your skin for makeup by applying moisturizer with your fingers. Wait a few minutes before proceeding to make sure your skin has fully absorbed the product.
2. Apply primer to your face with your fingertips.
3. Apply liquid foundation to your skin with a damp beauty sponge.
4. Restore brightness to your face by applying concealer with the applicator wand. Apply the product below your eyes, on the center of your forehead and chin and along the bridge of your nose. Press the product into your skin with a damp beauty sponge.
5. Set the concealer by pressing matte setting powder below your eyes with the damp sponge.
6. Swirl bronzer along your cheekbones with a cheek brush.
7. Restore color to your cheeks by patting coral blush onto them with the cheek brush. Apply the product from the center of your cheek outward toward the hairline in a diagonal direction toward the top of your ear.
8. Apply taupe cream eye shadow close to the upper lash line, and use the smudger or your fingers to spread the cream over the entire lid.
9. Sweep the taupe cream eye shadow below the lower lashes using the shadow liner brush. Blur the product with the tip of your finger. Rub the bristles against the eye shadow stick, and then transfer the pigment to your skin. This will prevent you from applying too much product.
10. Line your upper lash line with black eyeliner pencil.
11. Apply two coats of mascara to your lashes. Complete one eye at a time to prevent clumping.
