Brighten your mood with this pink and purple look

With warm summer weather on the horizon, vibrant colors are popping up everywhere. From nail colors to clothes, everything looks a little brighter. If you’re loving the pink and purple eye shadow trend, then this tutorial will help you pull both colors together without looking overdone.
When wearing vibrant eye shadow, it’s best to transition from light to dark shades, so the look is balanced. White shimmer shadow brightens the tear duct area, and pink and purple hues go from light to dark. These colors are deeply pigmented, so keep your cheeks and lips neutral for a daytime look.

Instructions
1. Prepare your skin for makeup by applying moisturizer with your fingers. Wait a few minutes before proceeding to make sure your skin has fully absorbed the product.
2. To cover redness, apply pale yellow concealer to your entire eye area with a buffing brush.
3. Darken the outer third of your lid and crease with deep purple eye shadow. Use the blending brush in a patting motion to concentrate the color on the outer corner.
4. Apply light purple eye shadow on the center of your lid and along the entire crease area.
5. Pat bright pink eye shadow on the inner third of your lid with the flat shader brush.
6. Brighten the inner corner of the lid near the tear duct by applying white shimmer eye shadow with the pencil brush.
7. Apply one or two coats of mascara to your upper and lower lashes.
8. Pump CC cream onto the foundation brush. Apply the product to your forehead, chin and cheeks, and then blend it into your skin in patting motions.
9. Brighten the area under your eyes by applying concealer with the applicator wand. Press the product into your skin with the concealer brush.
10. Set your CC cream and concealer by patting setting powder onto your skin with the foundation brush.
11. Define your cheeks by swirling bronzer along the cheekbones with a cheek brush. Tip: Sucking in your cheeks will help you locate the hollow, so you can place the color properly.
12. Restore color to your cheeks by patting coral blush onto them with the cheek brush. Apply the product from the center of your cheek outward toward the hairline in a diagonal direction toward the top of your ear. Swirl the brush to blend away any harsh edges.
