Amp up your smoky eye by going green

Is your neutral makeup routine feeling a little uninspired? Are you looking for a way to create a dramatic look with something other than brown or black? If so, you’re in luck. Green has made a major comeback, and the verdant hue may have you rethinking your go-to smoky look.
This seductive combination includes olive, forest green and turquoise shimmer along with matte black. Start with a well-moisturized base, and keep your cheeks relatively neutral. Coral blush and rosy beige lipstick give the dramatic eye balance for an evening look that’s anything but ordinary.

Instructions
1. Prepare your skin for makeup by applying moisturizer with your fingers. Wait a few minutes before proceeding to make sure your skin has fully absorbed the product.
2. Apply eye shadow primer to your eye area.
3. Use the blending brush to sweep olive green eye shadow onto the outer corner of the lid as well as the crease.
4. Apply forest green eye shadow to the outer and inner corners of the lid with a pencil brush.
5. Pat turquoise shimmer eye shadow onto the center of your lid using your ring finger. Use the pencil brush to blend the edges into the forest green.
6. Press black eye shadow along the upper lash line using the small eye shadow brush. Extend the shadow beyond the outer corner to elongate your eye.
7. Hold the false lashes with the tweezers, and apply a small amount of lash glue onto the lash band. Let the glue set for 10 seconds, then apply the lashes just above your upper lashes.
8. Apply stick foundation directly to your skin, and then blend it in with a foundation brush.
9. Restore brightness to your face by applying concealer with the applicator wand. Apply the product below your eyes, on the center of your forehead and along the bridge of your nose. Press the product into your skin with a damp beauty sponge.
10. Set your concealer by pressing loose powder below your eyes with the damp sponge.
11. Swirl bronzer along your cheekbones and temples with a cheek brush.
12. Sweep olive green eye shadow below your lower lashes with a pencil brush.
13. Press forest green eye shadow tightly against your lower lash line with a shadow liner brush.
14. Pat turquoise shimmer eye shadow below the center of the lower lash line with the small eye shadow brush.
15. Outline your brows, and fill in missing hairs with brow cream. Use an angled brow brush for precision.
16. Restore color to your cheeks by patting coral blush onto them with the cheek brush. Apply the product from the center of your cheek outward toward the hairline in a diagonal direction toward the top of your ear.
17. Use a tapered brush to apply white highlighter to the tops of your cheekbones and the bridge and tip of your nose.
