Take neutral to the next level with this brown halo eye

When it comes to eye makeup, neutrals reign supreme. By sticking to shades of brown and beige, you can ensure your eye looks are always understated, flattering and cool. There's a reason these tones dominate eye shadow collections time and time again!
Reaching so consistently for browns, taupes and bronzes can begin feeling rather staid after a while, though. By switching up the placement, you can get a fresh new look while staying firmly in your color comfort zone.

Instructions
1. Prime your complexion with a moisturizer and rub it on with your fingers.
2. Apply a redness-reducing primer.
3. Use a flat-top kabuki brush to apply a medium-coverage matte foundation to your entire face.
4. Add coverage and brightness under your eyes with a full-coverage concealer. Blend in with a beauty sponge.
5. Set with a loose translucent powder blended in with the beauty sponge
6. Apply a warm-toned powder bronzer with a cheek brush to your cheeks and on your forehead near your hairline to add dimension.
7. Apply a warm pink powder blush to the apples of your cheeks.
8. Fill in your eyebrows using a pomade and an angled brush. Set in place with a setting mist, being sure not to spray too close to your face.
9. Apply a gold-toned powder highlighter to the tops of your cheekbones and the tip of your nose with a powder brush.
10. Prime your eyelids with a matte concealer on a domed eye shadow brush.
11. Work a warm matte brown eye shadow (the tutorial uses "Silk Creme" from the Morphe Jaclyn Hill Palette Volume I) into the crease of your eye with a blending brush.
12. Intensify your crease using a deeper warm brown shade (the tutorial uses "Buns" from the same palette) using a blending brush.
13. Use a dark chocolate shade (the tutorial uses "Chip" from the same palette) to deepen the outer corner with a blending brush.
14. Add drama by working a matte black eye shadow into your lash line. (The tutorial uses "Abyss" from the same Jaclyn Hill palette) and apply it with a shading brush.
15. Apply an ivory-toned eye shadow (the tutorial uses "Enlight") to the inner portion of your eyelid with a shading brush to create contrast.
16. Apply false eyelashes for extra drama. Hold the false lashes with the tweezers, and apply a small amount of lash glue onto the lash band. Let the glue set for 10 seconds, and apply the lashes just above your upper lashes
