Get feisty by painting zebra stripes on a gold accent nail

Animal print is a fashion staple and can be found just about everywhere, including nail art. If you’re new to creating intriguing designs, they can be intimidating. A zebra stripe design works well for beginners because they’re slightly wavy by nature and supposed to be completely imprecise.
For an extra edgy look, paint most of your nails completely black, and create a few accent nails. Start with a gold base coat and matching transfer foil. You’ll need a short round brush for this design, which features stripes that are slightly thinner than a standard nail brush can create. Don’t forget to seal the artwork to protect it from chipping.

Instructions
1. Apply two coats of gold gel polish, and cure it in between coats by putting your hand in the gel lamp.
2. Sweep nail art foil glue onto the nail, and cure the glue in the gel lamp.
3. Press a square of gold transfer foil against the nail, and gently peel away the backing paper. If the foil didn’t transfer entirely, press the square against the nail until the surface is completely covered.
4. Apply several wavy horizontal lines using the black gel polish and the short round brush. Cure the wet gel with the lamp.
5. Protect the gorgeous zebra stripes by applying sealer nail gel on top. Cure it by sticking your hand in the lamp once more.
