The soft, smoked liner look is a cute alternative to a cat eye

As of 2015, there were more than 2 million cat videos on YouTube — and the number has skyrocketed in the years since. Considering America's love affair with the fabulous feline, it's no surprise that cat eyes have long been a cosmetic staple. While the traditional cat eye might be too dramatic for everyday wear, this soft, smoked liner look makes for a lovely alternative.
Featuring softly smudged liner and bold lashes, this style gets a touch of sweetness, thanks to a natural lip. Add a couple of your favorite barrettes for a complementary hairstyle that's sure to turn heads.
