Combine a healthy glow with a sleek ponytail for a classic look

Sometimes, when it comes to makeup, less truly is more. Sure, there's a time and place for a graphic liner or bright pop of color — but it's also nice to go for something simple and effective. And in terms of makeup that's simple and effective, there's nothing quite like glowing skin. Getting your complexion looking luminous is the key to this lovely, classic look.
Once your skin is looking right, you're going to want to show it off. By pulling your hair back off your face in a high ponytail, you can really allow your complexion to shine. For a look that's absolutely showstopping, make sure your hair is super sleek and as gleaming as your skin.

Instructions
1. Mix a medium coverage foundation with a liquid illuminator, and apply it to your skin using a damp beauty sponge.
2. Highlight your under-eyes and the center of your face, and conceal any imperfections with a liquid concealer.
3. Apply a liquid highlighter to the tops of your cheekbones and brow bone. Blend in with the beauty sponge.
4. Set the center of your face using a loose translucent powder and your beauty sponge. Brush off any excess with a fluffy brush.
5. Apply a warm, shimmery blush to the apples of your cheeks.
6. Illuminate your cheekbones, the bridge of your nose and Cupid's bow even further with a champagne-toned, pressed powder highlighter.
7. Fill in your eyebrows using a brow gel or pomade.
8. Apply bronzer to your eyelid using a fluffy brush. Take the same shade underneath your lower lash line with a smaller brush.
9. Tight-line your lower waterline with a pale nude kohl liner to open up the eyes.
10. Apply black mascara to your top and bottom lashes.
11. Line and fill in your lips with a nude-toned pencil.
12. Finish the look by combing your hair upward into a high ponytail. Use hairspray to ensure it's sleek and secure. Leave a tendril out to frame the face.
13. Once your ponytail is neat, take a strand of hair and wrap it around the base to conceal your hair tie.
