Take your look from office to date in these easy steps

Taking your look from day to night can be one of the biggest makeup challenges out there. A natural, pretty daytime look is perfect for the office —but it can lack the wow factor needed for a bigger evening event. And although we wish red lipstick and faux lashes were the daytime norm, they can sometimes seem a little bit overdone for day-to-day life.
Luckily, transitioning your makeup doesn't have to be so hard. With just a few simple products and quick application tips, you can take a neutral look and give it some oomph. Next time you're running late, consider switching up your makeup from day to night.

Instructions
1. For your day look, start by applying a glowy primer.
2. Use a buffing brush to apply a full-coverage foundation to your skin.
3. Add extra coverage and brightness to your under-eyes, bridge of your nose and the center of your forehead and chin using a concealer. Blend out with a small domed brush.
4. Contour your cheekbones, forehead, nose, eye socket and jawline with a cream stick. Blend in using the buffing brush.
5. Set your base using a loose translucent powder and a flat-topped brush.
6. Add more definition to your cheekbones using a matte powder bronzer.
7. Apply a shimmery peachy-pink blusher to the apples of your cheeks.
8. Prime your eyelids, then work the same powder bronzer into the crease.
9. Highlight the inner corner using a shimmery champagne eye shadow. We used "Beam" from the Morphe X Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette Vol. 1.
10. Apply black mascara to the top and bottom eyelashes.
11. Use a brow pomade to groom and define your eyebrows.
12. Finish your day look with a matte neutral-pink lipstick.
13. To take your look to nighttime, first apply brown liquid eyeliner in a small wing.
14. Use a brown kohl pencil to define your waterline.
15. Take a warm matte brown eye shadow (we used "Buns" from the same Morphe palette), and smoke out the upper and lower lash line.
16. Add a subtle strip lash for more drama. You can use tweezers to help with the application.
17. Finish with a bright red matte liquid lipstick.
