This is a date night look that even Barbie would envy

If you ever played with Barbie dolls as a kid, you know that Barbie was always flawless. Her makeup was perfectly on point, and you didn’t have to do anything other than brush her hair and pick out her clothes. While you may be too old to play with dolls, there’s no reason to shun Barbie’s signature pink looks, especially with vibrant eye shadow trending these days.
Incorporating fuchsia, violet and pink shimmer shadow into an evening look is a stylish way to wear these popular colors. To avoid looking sugary sweet, deepen the crease of your eye with black eye pencil and chocolate eye shadow before layering on the brights. It tones down the look while giving it a sophisticated edge.

Instructions
1. Outline your brows, and fill in missing hairs with an eyebrow pencil.
2. Apply liquid foundation to your skin with a foundation brush, then gently press the product into place with a damp beauty sponge.
3. Restore dimension to the center of your face by applying concealer with the applicator wand. Apply the product below your eyes, along the bridge of your nose and on the center of your forehead and chin. Press the product into your skin with the damp beauty sponge.
4. Contour your nose as well as the hollows of your cheeks by applying contour cream with an angled contour brush.
5. Apply a thick layer of loose powder below your eyes and on the center of your forehead with a damp beauty sponge. Do not remove the powder immediately.
6. Apply bronzer to your cheeks with the cheek brush, then sweep away the excess powder from the previous step.
7. Prime your eye area by applying concealer to your eyelid. Use the buffing brush to press the product into your skin.
8. Create a very thin line parallel to the crease of your eyelid with the black eye pencil. Use the small pencil brush to diffuse the pigment slightly.
9. Layer chocolate brown eye shadow over the black eye liner with the pencil brush.
10. Sweep fuchsia eye shadow along the crease and below the lower lashes with the blending brush.
11. Dust pink shimmer eye shadow below the brow bone.
12. Pat concealer onto the inner two-thirds of your lid with the flat eye shadow brush. Take your time, and create a half-moon shape on the lid.
13. Pat beige eye shadow onto the concealed portion of the lid with the small eye shadow brush.
14. Darken the outer corner of your lid by applying violet eye shadow with the blending brush.
15. Dust fuchsia eye shadow next to the violet shade.
16. Use black gel eyeliner and the angled eyeliner brush to create your eyeliner wing. Press the brush into the skin next to the outer corner of your eye, angling the brush upward toward the tail of your brow. Create a second diagonal line above it to form a small triangle. Fill in the triangle, and line your entire upper lash line as well.
17. Apply white liquid eyeliner to the inner-third of your lower lash line.
18. Line the outer two-thirds of your lower lash line with black gel eyeliner.
19. Fill in your lower waterline with ivory eye pencil to brighten your eyes.
20. Hold the false lashes with the tweezers, and apply a small amount of lash glue onto the lash band. Let the glue set for 10 seconds, then apply the lashes just above your upper lashes.
21. Line your lips with dusty rose lip liner, then fill them in with warm rose lip gloss.
22. Liven up your complexion by applying rose blush to your cheeks with an angled cheek brush.
