Put a twist on a classic with these black French tips

Anyone who knows anything about nails will confirm that a French tip is an absolutely classic look. Something about the slightly retro look is always sophisticated, cute and fun. But what if you've rocked a French tip for a long time, and are starting to feel a little ... bored?
By switching up the color of the tips of your nails, you can open up a whole new world of fun nail art. One classic shade that looks incredible when used on the tips of the nails? Black. Adding black tips to neutral nails gives a cool, grungy look that's subtle and sophisticated.

Materials
- Elite99 Color Gel in 5604
- Cheri Non-Wipe Gel Top Coat
- Angled gel brush
- Lumcrissy Gel Lamp (not shown)

Instructions
1. Starting with a nail that's been painted with neutral polish, apply a half-moon to the nail's tip in black gel polish using an angled gel brush. The sides should taper.
2. Cure the nail in the Lumicrissy lamp.
3. Apply a clear gel top coat across the entire nail.
4. Cure the nail using the gel lamp once again.

5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 on the other nails, or keep just one as an accent nail.
