For big-time glam, try this glittery blue makeup look

When there’s a special occasion on the calendar, or you’re planning a night out on the town with your best friends, nothing makes a big impression quite like bold eye shadow. Since blue is the trending color this season, why not combine it with glitter and a pair of fabulous false lashes?
Bright colors can look harsh on their own, so combine aqua and teal blue with cool blue shadow for extra dimension. Before you grab that unsuitable tube of craft glitter, head to your favorite beauty supply store for cosmetic-grade glitter instead. Lash glue will help it stay in place, and you can use the same adhesive when applying your lashes.

Instructions
1. Apply eye shadow primer to your entire eye area and below your lower lashes with a concealer brush.
2. Sweep cool matte blue eye shadow along the crease of your eyelid with the pencil brush.
3. Dip a shading brush into aqua and teal blue eye shadow, then carefully sweep it above the matte blue and onto the lid as well.
4. Brush eyelash glue onto the center of your eyelid.
5. Pat cosmetic-grade blue glitter onto the tacky glue on your eyelid using the shading brush.
6. Sweep cool matte blue eye shadow below your lower lashes with the shading brush.
7. Use the shading brush to press ivory shimmer eye shadow into the area near your tear duct.
8. Hold the false lashes with the tweezers, and apply a small amount of lash glue onto the lash band. Let the glue set for 10 seconds, then apply the lashes just above your upper lashes.
9. Line your lower waterline with black gel eye pencil.
10. To ensure your base makeup applies smoothly, pat and press makeup primer into your skin.
11. Apply base makeup to your skin with a foundation brush. Apply the product in downward strokes and stippling motions to prevent brush marks.
12. Brighten your under-eye area, bridge of your nose, center of your forehead and chin as well as the area directly above the Cupid’s bow with light-colored concealer. Press the product into your skin with a buffing brush.
13. Contour the hollows of your cheeks and upper forehead by applying dark-colored concealer with a tapered brush.
14. Prevent your concealer from creasing during the day by pressing loose powder into the skin below your eyes with a powder brush.
15. Dust bronzer onto the tops of your cheekbones as well as your temples and forehead with the powder brush.
16. Apply silvery tan highlighter on the tops of your cheekbones and the bridge of your nose with a tapered brush.
17. Fill in missing brow hairs with brow cream. Use an angled brush for precision.
18. Stipple warm-toned blush onto your cheeks with a cheek brush.
19. Line your lips with nude lip pencil to keep your lipstick from bleeding.
20. Fill in your lips with nude lipstick.
