Pair pink and red tones for a romantic look

When it comes to makeup, one of the cardinal rules is to emphasize either eyes or lips — not both. But this is a rule that's made to be broken. By focusing on only one or the other, you could end up missing out on a whole host of fun, dramatic makeup looks!
Another rule that's meant for breaking: The idea that red and pink clash. Soft rosy tones around the eyes plus juicy red lips can create a look that's as exciting as it is sweet.
