This smoky brown liner look is the epitome of effortless elegance

Need a makeup style that transitions easily from day to night? Try creating classic winged eyeliner with a smoky brown eye pencil. Brown winged eyeliner is more forgiving than black, so it’ll look stunning even if the lines aren’t completely symmetrical. Plus, this look strikes the perfect balance between professional and glamorous.
This makeup is ideal for anyone who covets neutrals but wants a little more sophistication in their style. It's also easy to up the drama by applying a darker pout. When it’s time to hit happy hour, simply switch out the lip gloss for a matte brown liquid lipstick. It doesn't get much more effortless than that.

Instructions
1. Draw on winged eyeliner with your eye pencil. Start by drawing a line angled up from the corner of your eye. Draw a second line from the end of the first that angles down toward the middle of your lash line. Fill in the eyeliner all the way to the inner corner of your eye. Line your waterline. Blur the top of the winged eyeliner with the edge of a small shader brush.
2. With the small shader brush, outline the winged eyeliner with “Unreal” or a dark terra-cotta shadow.
3. With a fluffy eye shadow brush, apply “Shooting Star” or a light tan shadow to your crease.
4. With a small shader brush, apply “Moonstone” or the highlighter of your choice to the inner corners of your eyes.
5. Apply mascara to your upper lashes.
6. Massage moisturizer into your face.
7. Apply concealer under your eyes, above your Cupid’s bow and onto your chin with a concealer brush. Blend it in with a foundation brush.
8. With a foundation brush, apply a few lines of foundation to your cheeks and forehead. Blend it in with a stippling motion.
9. Stipple setting powder on below your eyes with a powder brush. Sweep complexion powder onto your cheekbones, and swirl around your hairline.
10. Stipple blush onto the apples of your cheeks.
11. With an angled brow brush, line and fill in your brows with brow cream.
12. Apply “Fenty Glow” or a sheer, nude lip gloss. Your smoky brown liner look is complete!
