Look like a million bucks in rose gold makeup

When Pantone named Rose Quartz one of 2016’s colors of the year, everything took on a rosy hue. From hair color to makeup, warm-toned rose shades have taken over the beauty industry. Flash forward to 2020, and the trend is so strong that nearly every major cosmetics manufacturer has a palette dedicated to rose gold and all of its companion shades.
This wearable shade works for nearly everyone, so try this eye shadow quartet when building a slightly smoky look. The center of the lid is topped off with rosy copper eye shadow and a jet black wing. If you’re not a fan of false lashes, simply skip that step and use mascara instead. Keep your lips and cheeks fairly neutral for balance, but add a pop of rosy blush to keep your cheeks from looking too flat.

Instructions
1. Gently massage moisturizer into your skin with your fingertips.
2. Pat and press color correcting primer into your skin to help your base makeup last longer.
3. Apply eye shadow primer to the eye area with your fingertips.
4. Sweep light beige eye shadow along the crease of your eye with a blending brush.
5. Give your crease more depth by applying light brown eye shadow with the blending brush.
6. Darken the outer corner of your lid with blackened brown eye shadow.
7. Pat rosy copper metallic eye shadow onto the inner two-thirds of your lid with a small eye shadow brush.
8. Draw a short diagonal line from the outer corner of your lid up toward the tail of your brow with the liquid eyeliner pen. Draw a second diagonal line above it to create a small triangle. Fill in the triangle, and line the entire upper lash line as well.
9. Hold the false lashes with the tweezers, and apply a small amount of lash glue onto the lash band. Let the glue set for 10 seconds, then apply the lashes just above your upper lashes.
10. Apply foundation to your skin in downward strokes using a foundation brush.
11. Apply light-colored concealer below your eyes, above your Cupid’s bow, along the bridge of your nose and on the center of your forehead and chin. Press the product in with a damp beauty sponge.
12. Contour your cheeks and forehead with dark-colored concealer. Apply it below the cheekbones and on the upper corners of your forehead with the product applicator. Press the product into your skin with the damp beauty sponge. Tip: Suck your cheeks in slightly to locate the hollow of your cheek. This will help you place the concealer in the proper location.
13. Set the light-colored concealer by pressing setting powder into your skin with the damp sponge. Brush off excess powder with a powder brush.
14. Groom your brows and fill in missing hairs by brushing eyebrow gel or pomade through them with the angled brush.
15. Apply light brown eye shadow below your lower lashes with a pencil brush.
16. Darken the lower lash area with blackened brown eye shadow. Use the shadow liner brush for precision.
17. Warm up your complexion by swirling bronzer along the cheekbones and upper forehead with the powder brush.
18. Give your complexion a radiant kiss of color by sweeping blush and highlighter onto your cheeks with the powder brush. Tip: Dipping your brush in both products before applying them to your cheeks will give your blush more dimension.
19. Set your makeup by misting your face with setting spray. Tip: Hold the bottle at least 6 inches away from your face to avoid getting wet droplets on your skin.
20. Accentuate your cheekbones and forehead by sweeping gold highlighter onto them with a tapered brush.
