Get hearts racing with this red glitter makeup look

When it comes to makeup for special occasions, Valentine's Day can be one of the hardest to get right. You want to look super-cute and impress your crush but add some fun, kitschy, romantic twists. Finding the balance can be tricky.
Combining conventionally pretty, fluttery lashes, pouty lips and glowing skin with more "out there" elements around the eyes ensures you look appealing but never boring. Watch out, though: You might end up breaking some hearts!

Instructions
1. Prime the eyelid using a tined base and a flat eyeshadow brush.
2. Using a fluffy brush, work a dusty rose eyeshadow into the crease. We used "Pinker" from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Jackie Aina Palette.
3. Use tweezers to place a heart-shaped sticker on the outer part of the eyelid.
4. Use a flat brush to fill in the mobile lid with a neon red matte eyeshadow (we used “D3” from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Pro Pigment Palette Vol. 1). Blend the edges with a fluffy brush.
5. Use a black gel eyeliner to create a wing.
6. Once you're happy with the shape, use lash glue to apply pink iridescent glitter over the top of your black wing.
7. Buff the dusty rose shade into the lower lash line.
8. Further define your lower lash line using your neon red shade.
9. With a fluffy brush, buff the neon red shade in circles over your heart sticker.
10. Fill in brows using a pomade and an angled brush.
11. Apply false eyelashes for drama.
12. Apply a medium coverage, long-wearing foundation with a buffing brush.
13. Use an angled brush to apply a brightening concealer under the eyes, to the center of the forehead, and to the bridge of the nose.
14. Use a darker shade of concealer to contour the cheekbones, the perimeter of the forehead, and the bridge of the nose.
15. Set your base using a loose translucent powder and a fluffy face brush.
16. Use a neutral brown blush shade to set your cream contour.
17. Apply a neutral pink powder blush to the apples of the cheeks.
18. Line and fill in lips with a nude lip liner.
