This DIY lavender coconut scrub is an inexpensive way to rejuvenate your hands

A good scrub can make you feel like a brand-new person. Exfoliators remove dead skin, encourage cellular turnover and leave skin feeling baby soft. You could shell out serious cash for a store-bought product, but making a hand scrub at home is convenient, simple and cheap.
The following tutorial combines lavender buds and essential oil with sugar and coconut oil. There’s no need to measure ingredients. Just fill your container to the halfway point with lavender buds, and add the sugar. Make sure the coconut oil is fully melted, but be careful not to burn yourself.

The most difficult step in this DIY recipe is waiting for the mixture to cool down. Once it’s made, you can use it immediately or seal the jar and tuck it away for another day.
