Wear your favorite makeup style all day long with this soft, smoky eye look

Smoky eyes don’t have to be over-the-top to be alluring. This soft and smoky eye shadow look tones down the drama without skimping on style. It’s low-key enough to wear during the day while offering the perfect amount of sophistication for a weeknight outing. Plus, there are plenty of opportunities to customize the look to suit every occasion.
This look uses eye shadows from the Morphe 350 Nature Glow Palette, but you can easily adapt it to your preferred palette of neutral shadows. All you need are two similar shades of matte tan shadow and a matte dark brown shadow. If you want to wear the style to work, consider swapping out the false eyelashes for a voluminous mascara. To add even more dimension, apply diffused eyeliner or matte black shadow to your upper lash line.

Instructions
1. Pat facial cream into your face with your hands, and use your fingertips to pat primer into the highlight areas of your face.
2. Apply a few lines of foundation directly to your cheeks. For an airbrushed look, blend it in with your foundation brush using a stippling motion.
3. Apply several lines of highlighting concealer under your eye and in the center of your forehead. Apply a line of concealer on your chin, above your Cupid’s bow and down your nose. Blend it in with a damp blending sponge and a stippling motion.
4. Apply a line of contour concealer underneath your cheekbones and around your hairline. Blend it in using a blending sponge and a stippling motion.
5. With a blending sponge, apply powder to the tops of your cheekbones.
6. Use a bronzer brush and quick, circular motions to apply “Give Me Sun,” or use the bronzer of your choice under your cheekbones.
7. Fill in your brows as desired. One option is to first shape your brows with a spoolie. Line your brows with brow liner, then fill in with a matching brow powder.
8. Use a blush brush and quick, circular motions to apply blush on the tops of your cheekbones.
9. Apply eye shadow primer to your eyelids with your fingertips.
10. With a fluffy eye shadow brush, apply “Boxie” or a matte dark tan shadow to the crease and outside of your eyelid.
11. With the same brush, apply “Conquer” or a slightly darker shade of tan shadow just inside and underneath the shadow you applied in the previous step.
12. Layer on “Modern” or a matte dark brown shadow in the same way that you applied the shadow in the previous step.
13. Apply false eyelashes. Allow the glue to set.
14. Apply “Totally” or your preferred nude lip gloss. With that, your soft, smoky eyes are complete!
