Rev up your spring makeup routine with seafoam green

If your nude eye shadow routine needs a little pepping up, it’s time to rethink pastels. Powder blue is back in style, and so is seafoam green. Before you shake your head and dismiss the trend, remember that winged liner keeps even the palest shades from looking outdated.
In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to even out your complexion, contour your features, and pair complementary eye shadow and lipstick colors. To keep all eyes on yours, keep cheeks neutral. Peachy pink lipstick is a natural companion color for green, so stick to that side of the color wheel for a cohesive look.

Instructions
1. Apply foundation to your face to even out your skin tone and create a flawless base. Use a foundation brush to gently press the product into your skin.
2. Use concealer to cover dark circles under your eyes and to brighten other areas of your face, such as the center of your forehead, the bridge of the nose, and the cupid’s bow and chin. Apply concealer with the applicator wand, and use a damp beauty sponge to diffuse the product.
3. Contour your face by pressing dark-colored cream foundation into the hollows below your cheeks with the foundation brush. If your temples or jawline seem too pronounced, contour those areas as well.
4. Set your makeup by sweeping pressed powder onto your skin with a powder brush. Pat the brush lightly against your face to avoid disturbing the makeup underneath.
5. Refine brows and fill in missing hairs by applying brow powder with an angled eyebrow brush.
6. Pat seafoam green eye shadow onto the lids with a flat shading brush.
7. Line upper lashes with black liquid eyeliner. Draw a small wing initially, and extend the length as desired. To make your eyes look bigger, apply eyeliner slightly beyond the tear duct as well.
8. Warm up your complexion by sweeping golden brown blush along your jawline, cheeks and temples with a cheek brush.
9. Complete your eye makeup by applying one or two coats of black mascara to your upper and lower lashes.
10. Carefully outline your lips with rose lip pencil. Lining the lips prevents lipstick from feathering into lip lines.
11. Fill in your lips with peachy pink lipstick. Using a lip brush makes it easier to blend the pigment with the lip pencil.
