Brighten your mood and your eyes with shades of coral and electric blue

If you’re looking to break out of your makeup rut this year, look no further than the plethora of palettes overflowing with bright colors. Some of the hottest hues in makeup are inspired by runway fashion and one of life’s most appreciated opportunities: watching the sun set over the ocean.
This vibrant combination of coral and electric blue might seem an odd pairing at first, but these hues naturally complement one another. Start by building a coral base, and add orange to brighten the lid. If you already own electric blue eyeliner, feel free to use it. If not, simply spritz your eye shadow brush with setting spray to intensify the eye shadow.

Instructions
1. To even out skin tone, dab liquid foundation onto your face and press it in with a damp beauty sponge.
2. Use concealer to cover dark circles under your eyes and to brighten other areas of your face, such as the center of your forehead, the bridge of the nose, the Cupid’s bow and chin. Apply the product with the applicator wand, and then use a damp beauty sponge to diffuse the product.
3. Set the areas where you applied concealer by patting matte pressed powder onto your skin with a powder brush.
4. Fake a sunkissed glow by dusting bronzer onto your cheekbones, temples and upper forehead with a cheek brush.
5. Contour your nose by sweeping bronzer along each side with a tapered brush.
6. Groom your brows with a spoolie, and then brush eyebrow cream through them with an angled brush.
7. Sweep clear brow gel through your eyebrows to set them in place for the day.
8. Apply coral eye shadow to the eyelid and crease with an eye shadow brush.
9. Pat orange eye shadow onto the center of the lid with a flat shading brush.
10. Carefully line the upper lid and create a wing at the outer corner using blue eye shadow and an eyeliner brush. Tip: For more intense color, dampen your brush with setting spray before applying the eye shadow. Wipe the brush on a tissue before dipping it back into the pigment to prevent altering the formula in the pan.
11. Apply one or two coats of black mascara.
12. Carefully outline your lips with rose lip pencil. Tip: Lining the lips prevents lipstick from feathering.
13. Balance your bright makeup with a complementary shade of nude-coral lipstick.
14. Customize your lip color by patting coral eye shadow onto your lips with the eye shadow brush. Tip: Clean the brush thoroughly after this step.
