All that glitters may not be gold, but these chrome nails shine so brightly, you’ll want to dance the night away. Chrome powder comes in a wide variety of colors, and gold quickly turns to champagne when layered over white gel polish.
Since a golden accent nail is hard to resist, grab a geometric fox decal, and create an extra special look for holiday season. This design works on long and short nails, and is easy for beginners to master. Peel off the clear protective sheet on the decal, and submerge it in water for 10 seconds. When you can easily separate it from the paper backing, it’ll be ready to apply to your nail. Pick up a small package of disposable eye shadow applicators before trying this design. They make it much easier to apply the chrome powder, and you can throw them away when you’re done.

1. Paint your nails with two coats of white gel polish. Cure the gel between coats with the UV or LED lamp.
2. Use the scissors to cut out a small gold geometric fox decal. Remove the clear backing with the tweezers, and lower the decal into the cup of water. Let the decal soak until it easily separates from the paper backing.
3. Remove the decal from the water, and use the tweezers to position it on the nail facing away from your hand. Press it into place with your fingers, and trim the excess with the scissors.
4. Paint the nail with a thin coat of no-wipe top coat polish, and cure it with the lamp.
5. Apply no-wipe top coat polish to the remaining nails. Cure the gel with the lamp.
6. Rub gold chrome powder onto the nails with a sponge eye shadow applicator. Sweep away the excess powder with a fluffy makeup brush.
