Recreate Sophia Loren’s signature silver screen look

Hollywood has a way of finding stunning-looking actresses to showcase on film, and Sophia Loren is considered one of the most beautiful women of all time. Her smoky eyes and full lashes still inspire makeup fans to recreate her signature look.
If you love neutral cheeks and lips, this iconic style is one worth trying. Loren’s eye makeup was quite simple, so focus on creating a bold '60s-style wing with a white center. In a rare departure from today’s application standards, line the entire eye with black liquid liner. When you fill in the waterline with beige pencil, your eyes will look bigger than ever.

Instructions
1. Pat eye shadow primer onto the eye area with a concealer brush, and press it into the skin with a flat-topped brush.
2. Apply foundation on the upper portion of the eye above the crease with the flat-topped brush.
3. Sweep light-colored pressed powder foundation all over the eye area with the flat-topped brush.
4. Brush matte taupe eye shadow in the crease in windshield wiper motions with the blending brush. This will give the eye depth.
5. Apply blackened brown eye shadow over the entire lid with the blending brush.
6. Draw a small diagonal line at the outer edge of the eye with white liquid eyeliner.
7. Fill in the lower waterline with beige eyeliner pencil.
8. Line the upper and lower lash lines with black liquid liner, outlining the white line you drew in step 6 as well.
9. Hold the false lashes with the tweezers, and apply a small amount of lash glue onto the lash band. Let the glue set for 10 seconds, then apply the lashes just above your upper lashes.
10. Apply makeup primer to your face with your fingers.
11. Apply foundation to your skin with a fluffy foundation brush.
12. Apply concealer below your eyes, above your Cupid’s bow, along the center of your nose and on the center of your forehead. Press the product in with the flat-topped brush.
13. Apply contour stick under the cheekbones, along the jaw, on the outer corners of the forehead, and on the nose. Use a cheek brush for large areas and the flat-topped brush on your nose.
14. Set the under-eye area as well as other concealed areas with light-colored pressed powder foundation and a powder brush.
15. Sweep dark-colored pressed powder foundation along the upper cheekbones and center of the forehead, and on the sides and tip of the nose to set the contour cream.
16. Groom the brows, and fill in missing hairs by brushing eyebrow cream through them with the angled brow brush. Use the spoolie afterward to separate the hairs and diffuse the pigment for a natural look.
17. Define your lips by outlining them with neutral lip liner.
18. Fill in your lips with nude lipstick. Use a lip brush for precision and control.
