Go ultra-chic with modern red leopard print nails

Animal print has been a fashion staple for generations. The abstract design catches the eye, and the color combinations can complement your outfits. If you love leopard print’s shape but aren’t a fan of the traditional colors, this classic red design might suit your style.

In this manicure, matte and glossy finishes make the subtle red print design stand out. You can vary this effect by alternating shiny red and matte red backgrounds as shown in the video. Pick the one that suits your taste, or try them both on alternating nails.

Materials
- Red gel paint (OPI, Mr. Right Now)
- UV or LED lamp (Lumcrissy, not shown)
- No-wipe top coat (Cheri)
- Water-resistant sticky notepad (Extreme Post-it Notes)
- Matte no-wipe top coat (Kupa)
- Short round brush

Instructions
1. Apply two coats of red gel polish to the nails. Cure the wet gel with the UV or LED lamp between coats.

2. Apply a layer of no-wipe top coat to the nails, and then cure the gel with the lamp.

3. Use the Post-it notepad as a palette. Place matte no-wipe top coat onto the note. Dip the short round brush into the top coat, then paint abstract leopard print spots onto your nails. Cure the wet gel with the lamp.
