Pare down your eye shadow for a muted sultry makeup look

Creating a naturally sultry makeup look can be challenging. You want the effect to be subtle but also intense. Achieving the right balance means juxtaposing nude shades with just enough glam to stop someone cold.
This tutorial uses two different foundation products instead of a dedicated contouring cream. When working with cream products, choose a dense, short-bristled brush for optimal control. Long bristles often leave brush marks, whereas short bristles press product into your skin for a less obvious result. False lashes are a must for most sultry looks, so pick your favorite pair, since they will be responsible for most of the drama seen here.

Instructions
1. Outline and fill in your brows with brow pomade by using an angled brow brush.
2. Apply MILK MAKEUP Hydro Grip Primer with your fingertips.
3. Apply I AM MAGIC foundation with a foundation brush.
4. Apply the Sensual Skin Enhancer concealer under your eyes with a flat concealer brush.
5. Apply Make Up For Ever HD Cream Foundation to your upper forehead, temples and cheekbones with a dense, short-bristled brush. Pat the product in to blur the edges.
6. Set your under-eye concealer by pressing loose finishing powder into the product with a damp beauty sponge.
7. Sweep L’Oréal True Match Super Blendable Powder over your temples and cheekbones with a powder brush to accentuate your bone structure.
8. Apply the same powder to the crease of your eye and under the lower lashes with a blending brush.
9. Apply Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics in "Tempted" just below the crease, on the outer corner and under the lashes with the blending brush.
10. Sweep away excess powder on your cheeks with the powder brush.
11. Hold the false lashes with the tweezers, and apply a small amount of lash glue onto the lash band. Let the glue set for 10 seconds, then apply the lashes just above your upper lash line.
12. Apply black eyeliner pencil to the upper and lower waterlines to make your lashes look more dense.
13. Apply Kevyn Aucoin The Neo-Blush in "Pink Sand" on the apples of your cheeks with a blush brush.
14. Outline your lips with Morphe Color Pencil in "Sugar Pie," then fill them
in with MAC Lip Pencil in "Strip Down." Tip: Doubling up on lip pencil will ensure that your lips will still have pigmentation even after your lipstick wears off.
