Learn to recreate Kim Kardashian’s signature makeup style

In recent years, one of the most common makeup applications is patterned after Kim Kardashian’s style. Soft, smoky eyes, sculpted cheeks and nude lips are staples in the celebrity’s makeup arsenal. Recreating this look at home isn’t complicated if you have a nude or neutral eye shadow palette and multiple cream-based products.
The key to perfecting this look is to start with a well-moisturized base and to layer powder over cream products. This ensures your makeup will last all day. Limit the eye shadow colors to cream, taupe, dark brown and gunmetal, then add a pair of false lashes and a trio of lip products to balance the look. You can also skip the blush here. This look is all about light and shadow.

Instructions
1. Apply moisturizer to your face, and gently press it into your skin.
2. Dab makeup primer onto your T-zone or other areas of your face that become oily during the day.
3. Prime your eye area by patting yellow-beige cream eye shadow onto the area with a concealer brush. Allow the product to dry thoroughly before proceeding, or it will be difficult to blend your eye shadow.
4. Brush cream-colored eye shadow into the crease with a blending brush using windshield-wiper motions.
5. Layer dusty taupe eye shadow over the previous color with the same brush.
6. Darken the outer corner of your lid and the lower portion of the crease by applying dark brown eye shadow with the shading brush.
7. Apply shimmering gunmetal eye shadow to the inner third of your lid with the shading brush.
8. Darken the upper lash line with black eye shadow using the shadow liner brush.
9. Apply black mascara to your lashes.
10. Hold the false lashes with the tweezers, and apply a small amount of lash glue onto the lash band. Let the glue set for 10 seconds, then apply the lashes just above your upper lashes.
11. Apply foundation with a foundation brush to even out your skin.
12. Brighten your face by applying light-colored concealer to the center of your forehead as well as below your eyes, above your Cupid’s bow, down the center of your nose and on the tip of your chin. Press the product into the foundation with a damp beauty sponge.
13. Accentuate your cheekbones, jawline, temples and upper forehead with dark-colored concealer. Apply the product to each area with the applicator wand, then press the product into your skin with a damp beauty sponge.
14. Press loose setting powder onto each area where you applied light-colored concealer. Using a damp beauty sponge will help the powder bond with the cream product underneath.
15. Swirl bronzer onto your upper forehead and along your cheekbones with a cheek brush.
16. Groom your brows with the screw brush, then fill them in with dark brown eyebrow pencil.
17. Apply dusty taupe eye shadow below your lower lashes with a pencil brush.
18. Brush shimmering gunmetal eye shadow against the lower lash line with a very small eye shadow brush.
19. Apply mascara on your lower lashes.
20. Spritz your face with setting spray to protect your makeup and help it last longer.
21. Bring light to your features by tapping highlighting powder onto the tops of your cheekbones, then brush it above your eyebrows, down the center of your nose and above your Cupid’s bow with a tapered brush.
22. Line your lips with cocoa lip liner.
23. Fill in your lips with nude lipstick.
24. Top off your lips with a coat of nude lip gloss for a shiny finish.
