Get cozy with this matte cocoa makeup look

Looking to switch up your makeup style with the changing seasons? This matte cocoa makeup look is just the thing for warming up long winter nights. Rich brown eye shadow and liquid lipstick invoke the feeling of hot cups of cocoa, while a touch of gold and ivory shadow adds just the right amount of seasonal sparkle.
This makeup style uses brown and orange shadows that often get passed over during the spring and summer months. If you have an eye shadow palette of natural colors, play around with the shades until you find a combination that best complements your skin tone. Be sure to sweep highlighter across your nose and cheeks to balance out the deep brown colors with a natural glow.

Instructions
1. Fill in your brows with a brown cream and brush, then shape with a spoolie. To add more definition, outline your brows with the same detail brush and a brow powder. Lightly sweep the brow set across your brows for a long-lasting finish.
2. Use a large eye shadow brush to dab eye primer on your lids. With your fingertip, blend in the primer all the way up to your brow bone.
3. Clean and dry the large eye shadow brush, then apply MAC Eye Shadow in “Wedge” or a light brown shadow to your entire eyelid.
4. Apply the Jelly Pong Pong 2-in-1 Shadow/Liner or a golden-brown cream eye shadow to the bottom half of your lid. Blend in the shadow with your fingertip.
5. With a short eye shadow brush, apply the Morphe shadow in “Slight” or a warm, medium-brown shadow on top of the golden-brown shadow from step 4.
6. With a fluffy eye shadow brush, apply the Morphe shadow in “Wannabe” or a slightly orange-brown shadow to your crease.
7. With a short eye shadow brush, apply the MAC shadow in “Orb” or a matte ivory shadow to your brow bone.
8. Thickly apply the same 2-in-1 shadow/liner or golden-brown cream shadow from step 4 to your lower lash line.
9. Apply the MAC Chromographic Pencil or a white pencil to your waterline.
10. With a detail brush, apply Morphe shadow in “Seriously” or a light-brown shadow on top of the cream shadow from step 8.
11. With a fluffy eye shadow brush, apply Morphe shadow in “Burnt Spice” or an orange shadow slightly above your crease.
12. Apply mascara to your upper lashes. Draw on winged eyeliner with a dark black gel eyeliner.
13. Use your fingertips to blend foundation across your face. Apply a matte concealer in the same way to even out your skin tone.
14. Apply a creamy concealer beneath your eyes, then carefully blend in with your fingertips.
15. Set your foundation by applying a loose setting powder with a powder brush. Use a quick, stippling motion across your face for even coverage.
16. Dab blush across the tops of your cheekbones, then swirl the brush to blend it in.
17. Sweep bronzer across the top of your forehead, below your cheekbones and along your jawline.
18. Use a highlighter brush to dab highlighter to your chin, Cupid’s bow and the bridge of your nose.
19. Line your lips with a warm brown lip pencil. Fill in with a chocolate-colored liquid lipstick and lip brush.
