Recreate the shimmer of a disco ball with these silver holographic nails

You may not remember disco music, but the iconic disco ball is influencing beauty trends. The glittery reflective surface catches light and sends rainbow-colored rays in all directions. Capturing those holographic hues isn’t hard if you pick the right product combination.
This light-catching manicure features silver glitter polish and holographic foil. It’s perfect for a winter holiday party or an evening wedding. Holographic foil has a plastic backing, but it’s easy to remove after curing the wet gel. Combine these two different products for a manicure to remember.

Instructions
1. Cut the transfer foil into very thin strips using a pair of sharp scissors.
2. Apply two coats of silver glitter polish to your nails. Cure the wet gel with the UV or LED lamp between coats.
3. Apply a single layer of clear gel base coat to the nails, but don’t cure them immediately.
4. Pick up a strip of holographic foil with the tweezers, and place it onto the nail. Apply the strip vertically, so that it covers the length of your nail from cuticle to tip.
5. Repeat step 4 with additional strips of foil, and then cure the wet gel with the lamp.
6. Use the tweezers to remove the plastic backing on the transfer foil.
