This flame ombré sponge design is romantic and edgy

Flame designs have moved from the tattoo and automotive world into mainstream culture. From clothing to water bottles to manicures, flames are hot. If you love their free-flowing shape and color variation, then you’ll appreciate this sparkly jelly manicure.
This design doesn’t require any special painting skills because the flames are created using a sticker stencil as a template. Instead of using opaque nail gel, which would look flat and one-dimensional, choose jelly polish. Since it’s sheer, the underlying design will show through, giving the flames a realistic quality.

Instructions
1. Apply two coats of fuchsia gel polish to the nails, curing the gel in between coats with the UV or LED lamp.
2. Use the tweezers to place a flame sticker stencil onto the nail. Once you’re happy with the placement, press the stencil firmly against the nail so it doesn’t move while applying the gel paint.
3. Dip a sponge eye shadow applicator into the golden-pink gel polish, and lightly dab the color onto the exposed nail where the flames are located.
4. Gently remove the sticker stencil, and cure the wet paint with the lamp.
5. Layer pink jelly polish onto the tip of the nail using a clean sponge eye shadow applicator, and then cure the wet polish with the lamp.
6. Use the long liner brush to outline the flames with white drawing gel. Cure the wet gel with the lamp once more.
7. Give the design longevity by applying one coat of sealer nail gel on top, and cure the wet gel one last time with the lamp.
