Celebrate grape-harvesting season with this quick vine design

Autumn is harvest time in wine country. If you’re a vino fan or simply love purple, this quick manicure is an alluring choice for chilly fall weather. While lavender is primarily a spring and summer color, it works beautifully in this manicure, because it makes the ideal background color for the deep purple-blue vine.
If you’re worried about your artistic skills, don’t be. Start by drawing a single curved line, and then create swirls in the wet gel with a dotting tool. Iridescent holographic dots give the finished design added flair, and they also hide tiny imperfections. You can center the dots along the vine or scatter them along the “leaves.” Either way, this pretty manicure will be eye-catching and nearly effortless.

Instructions
1. Apply two coats of lavender gel polish to your nails, curing them between coats with the UV or LED lamp.
2. Paint a single curved line from the nail tip to the cuticle with the purple-blue gel polish.
3. While the gel is still wet, drag the tip of the dotting tool through the purple-blue gel to create small swirls on one side. Repeat the process on the opposite side, and then cure the wet gel with the lamp.
4. Apply a thin layer of sealer nail gel to the nail, and then place several iridescent holographic dots along the design with the dotting tool. Cure the wet gel once more with the lamp.
