Use a nude eyeliner to line waterline
You can open up tired eyes with a quick swipe of nude eyeliner on your waterline. The nude eyeliner will help to create the illusion of a wider, more open eye, even after a late night. Make sure your eyeliner isn't too sharp before you begin. Then, simply pull your bottom lid down just a little bit, and run the nude eyeliner across. Using a waterproof eyeliner is a good way to achieve an all-day result.

Apply concealer using the triangle method
Instead of the "half-moon" technique for your concealer application, try a triangle instead. When blended with a makeup sponge, this is a useful technique for hiding under-eye dark circles while also brightening the top of your cheekbone. This method will add a non-sparkly highlight in a natural way.
Start by applying a half-moon layer under your eye as you would do normally. Continue the half-moon down the line of your nose. Connect the bottom of that line with the outer corner edge of the concealer, just to the side of your eye. With a clean makeup sponge, dab and blend the concealer in, smudging the lines for an airbrush-style finish. You should have a light-catching brightness that hides any blotches from lack of sleep.

Use lip gloss to moisturize dehydrated lips
One of the best ways to hide tired eyes: Distract from them with a beautiful smile. A glossy lip will catch the light and pull peoples' eyes to your smile. The key to a perfect lip is good base skin.
Use a sugar scrub if you have it on hand. If you don't have a premade scrub, pour a little sugar in a bowl and add some olive oil to make a paste. Get some of the sugar scrub on your fingers and rub it gently on your lips, removing any dead skin or roughness. The olive oil will also help to moisturize dry lips. After scrubbing gently, wash your lips off and apply a moisturizing lip balm. Next, grab your favorite gloss and swipe on an even layer. For a polished look, use a nude lip liner before applying the gloss to keep it in place. No one will be noticing your tired eyes with such an enviable pout.

Use brightening concealer
A brightening concealer is another easy way to fight under-eye circles. Celebrity makeup artist Suzy Gerstein is quoted as saying that brightening concealers won't fall into fine lines because of the thinner consistency, and that most come in a "peach or salmon hue to counter the blue tones of under-eye circles.”
Try applying a few dots of brightening concealer under your eye and dabbing them in. A blending brush or sponge can help to push the makeup into your skin. If dark circles are the number one giveaway for your sleep deprivation, brightening concealer will be your best friend.

Highlight inner eye corner
Another way to erase sleepiness is by highlighting your inner eye corner. Much like adding nude or white eyeliner to your waterline, highlighting your inner eye corner helps to make your eyes look open and more awake.
Many companies are coming out with eyeliner or eye color crayons. They look like fat sticks of eyeliner and can make this corner highlight a breeze to do even when you're on the go. A small makeup brush and some cream or powder highlighter are other options. Just be sure to not use too much, or you'll end up with much more than the natural highlight you were hoping for. Apply a little highlighter at the inner corner and smudge it in. In seconds, you now have the illusion of a full night's sleep.

Don't forget the cheeks
Similar to the lips, adding color to your cheeks will create a healthy glow, masking tired skin and brightening your face. You can choose a color to complement your lipstick ,or try one of the lipstick-cheek combination sticks that are quickly becoming a favorite. Brush on a powder blush to hide oily skin, or use a sponge to rub in some cream color for a dewy look. The rosy glow will hide any sign that you need a couple more hours of sleep.

Go for a bold eye
Masking your fatigue with a bold eye is easier and faster than you might think. Instead of using a whole palette of colors, you can get away with using only a couple of colors. Use a lighter shade all over, making sure to swipe a little under your eye. Use a slightly darker shade at the corner and crease before you highlight the corner of your eye.
Add more layers of color for an especially bold look. Finally, use liquid eyeliner on your top lid to add depth to your look. Make sure you blend your colors, and don't be afraid of a bold eyeliner color. Black is universal, but a navy or purple can be a fun change.
