Earth tones will be your go-to summer and fall look

Have you ever noticed how Mother Nature has a knack of putting complementary colors together? Earth tones, especially caramel, orange, and light and dark brown have a natural affinity for one another. When combined with a softly bronzed cheek and barely pink lipstick, you’ll have a makeup look that’s perfect for summer and fall.
A few of these colors may be new to you, especially burnt orange and reddish-orange duochrome, which shifts colors depending on the angle. Start with colors you’re comfortable with, like light brown. It’s the ideal transition shade and prevents the darker colors from overwhelming the eye. This look is beautiful with or without false lashes, so feel free to just use mascara if you want a more subtle style.

Instructions
1. Use the concealer brush to apply eye shadow primer to you eye area.
2. Sweep light brown eye shadow along your crease as well as the outer corner of your lid with the blending brush.
3. Intensify the crease and outer corner with caramel eye shadow.
4. Apply burnt orange eye shadow on your entire lid with a small eye shadow brush. Note: The video shows only the outer corner being darkened, but you’ll see in the next step that the entire lid is burnt orange.
5. Deepen the outer corner of your lid by applying dark orange eye shadow with the small eye shadow brush.
6. Pat reddish-orange duochrome eye shadow on the inner two-thirds of your lid with a flat eye shadow brush.
7. Buff warm brown eye shadow under your lower lashes with a shadow liner brush.
8. Fill in your lower waterline with dark brown eye pencil.
9. Hold the false lashes with the tweezers, and apply a small amount of lash glue onto the lash band. Let the glue set for 10 seconds, then apply the lashes just above your natural lashes.
10. Apply hydrating primer to your skin with your fingertips.
11. Apply foundation directly to your skin, then blend it in with a foundation brush using downward strokes.
12. Brighten the area under your eyes by applying light-colored concealer with the applicator wand. Gently press the product into your foundation with a buffing brush.
13. Contour the hollows of your cheeks and the upper corners of your forehead by applying dark-colored concealer with the applicator wand. Press the concealer into your foundation with the foundation brush.
14. Set the concealer under your eyes, and mattify the sides of your nose by pressing pressed powder into the skin with a flat contour brush.
15. Warm up the perimeter of your face as well as the tops of your cheeks with golden brown blush and a cheek brush.
16. Pat reddish-burgundy blush onto the apples of your cheeks with a cheek brush.
17. Bring light to the area around your eyes by applying gold highlighter with a tapered brush above the outer corners of your brows and on the tops of your cheekbones.
18. Outline your brows, and fill in missing hairs with brow cream. Use an angled brow brush for precision.
19. Outline your lips with nude lip pencil to prevent your lipstick from bleeding.
20. Complete your makeup by filling in your lips with warm pink lipstick. Gently blend the lipstick and lip liner together with your finger.

A stacked braid is what it sounds like, one braid stacked on top of another. The bottom braid is usually a little more flowy or loose, while the top braid is structured and tight. This creates a fun contrast.
