This Christmas makeup tutorial will have people queuing up under the mistletoe

Deciding on the right makeup for the holiday season is difficult. Although you want to be festive, you don't want to overstep the line and veer into costume-y territory. Staying cute during the Christmas period is really what it's all about.
Sticking to festive shades of green and red but applying with a traditionally glamorous technique gives you the best of both worlds. A green-toned smokey eye is as alluring as it is seasonally appropriate. And going for a matte red lip means you'll be well-prepared for any mistletoe action.

4. Use a flat smudger brush to apply black gel eyeliner along the upper lashline. Blend with a clean, fluffy brush.
5. Further blend this gel liner out using the same matte green eyeshadow.
6. Use an olive green eyeshadow (we used Green With Envy from the Morphe 35M Boss Mood Artistry Palette) on a flat brush to deepen the crease.
7. Fill in the inner portion of the eyelid with a shimmery green-gold eyeshadow (we used Bold Moves from the same Morphe palette).
8. Highlight the inner corner with a shimmery champagne eyeshadow (we used Light of the Party from the same Morphe palette).
