Reap your own rewards with this netted treasure manicure

Few of us spend our days casting nets into the sea and hoping for a good catch, but a beachy manicure featuring golden shells and starfish is a sight to behold. Creating a gel polish net would be difficult if you used regular polish.
This tutorial will show you how to use string gel to create a miniature net.
Start with an aqua blue base and a shiny white net. Fill your net with golden treasure by adding seashell and starfish charms as well as rhinestones. When you’re finished, you’ll have a one-of-a-kind manicure that will have people asking, “How’d you do that?”

Instructions
1. Apply two coats of aqua blue gel polish to the nails, curing the gel between coats with the UV or LED lamp.
2. Dip a toothpick into the white string gel and begin forming the net. String the gel back and forth a few times until you have a sequence of diagonal lines that span the length of the nail. Cure the wet gel with the lamp.
3. Create the woven part of the net by stringing the gel diagonally along the previous design. Cure the gel with the lamp.
4. Apply a layer of sealer gel over the design.
5. While the gel is still wet, use the tweezers to place the gold charms and rhinestones into the gel, and then cure it with the lamp.
