With these nails, you can have your cake and eat it, too

Birthday cake is one of those rare treats that makes an appearance just once a year. Layers of fluffy cake, creamy icing and candy sprinkles turn a simple dessert into a festivity. If you love cake, but hate the calories, this is the manicure for you.
Painting a miniature slice of cake is pretty simple. The layers are all variations of a rectangle, and this pretty version combines a few colors to create a customized tint. Pink, orange and white form the bulk of the design, so make sure you have multiple colors to create this sweet, sugar-free treat.

Instructions
1. Apply two coats of light pink gel polish to the nails, curing it in between coats with the UV or LED lamp.
2. Paint wide rectangles with white nail gel using the short round brush. Cure the gel with the lamp.
3. Use the Extreme Post-it Notes as a palette. Place salmon pink and orange gel polish onto the notepad, and then swirl a small amount of white gel into the two colors using the toothpick.
4. Paint a square just below the white rectangles using the polish mixture from step three and the short brush. Cure the wet gel with the lamp.
5. Create the cake layers and upper icing by applying medium pink gel polish with the long liner brush. Cure the gel with the lamp.
6. Add some sparkles to the upper pink icing by applying multicolored gel polish with the small end of a dotting tool. Cure with the lamp.
7. Seal the design by brushing a coat of clear no-wipe top coat over the nail, and then cure the gel with the lamp.
