Double up on the metallic shine with bronze makeup and star-accented cheeks

With so many makeup products on the market, it’s hard to understand how a manufacturer could pitch something as being universally flattering. After all, your skin tone, eye color and personal preferences make you unique. Bronze, however, may be the exception to the rule. It isn’t really a color in the traditional sense, but the warm metallic hue does have universal appeal.
If you have shied away from metallic eye shadow in the past, you may want to rethink your aversion. The makeup look shown in the following tutorial combines pink champagne and bronze shimmer shadow for an understated yet flattering look. Since the final result includes several tiny silver stars, go easy on the cheek and lip colors. Peachy pinks and nudes will make your skin glow without overpowering the metallic shadow.

Instructions
1. For a radiant finish, apply illuminating foundation primer with your fingertips.
2. Outline your brows and fill in missing hairs with brow pomade and an angled brow brush.
3. Even out your skin by applying liquid foundation with a foundation brush. Brush in downward strokes, and then stipple the product in to eliminate brush strokes.
4. Brighten the undereye area and bring light to the center of your forehead as well as your nose and chin by applying concealer with the applicator wand. Press the concealer into your foundation with a damp beauty sponge.
5. Prevent your concealer from creasing by applying setting powder with the beauty sponge. Pat and press the powder into your concealer.
6. Give your face a sun-kissed glow by applying bronzer to your cheeks with a cheek brush.
7. Add a touch of color by sweeping peachy pink blush onto your cheeks with the same brush used for bronzer.
8. Apply pink champagne cream eye shadow to your lid using your fingertip.
9. Use a small eye shadow brush to apply bronze shimmer eye shadow stick to the upper lash line. Tip: Using a brush gives you more control, so you won’t end up with excess cream shadow in your lashes.
10. Line the upper lid with matte black eyeliner pencil.
11. Apply two coats of black mascara to your lashes.
12. Hold the false lashes with the tweezers, and apply a small amount of lash glue onto the lash band. Let the glue set for 10 seconds then apply the lashes just above your upper lash line.
13. Fill in your lips with matte beige-brown lip crayon, and top them off with pinky nude gloss.
14. Set your makeup by spritzing your face with setting spray.
15. Accentuate your cheekbones by brushing on gold highlighter with a tapered brush.
16. Apply several self-adhesive stars to the upper portion of the cheekbone near the outer corner of the eye. Use your finger or the tweezers to press the stars into place.
