Be the picture of holiday softness with this blurred lips look

Looking for a holiday makeup look that’s sweet, soft and perfect for fireside snuggling with that special someone? This blurred lips style was made for cold nights and seasonal celebrations. A hint of gold cream eye shadow brings a bit of festive sparkle while still being subtle enough for family gatherings. The real focal point of this look is the bright pink lips, which garner attention with their velvety vibe.
If bold, matte lips with distinct liner aren’t your style, try out the blurred lips look instead. Blurred lips come off as slightly more natural but still add a pop of color. The trick to achieving the look is a bit of strategic blotting with a tissue, followed by some smudging with contouring makeup on your fingertip. Play around with the technique and you might find yourself incorporating blurred lips into your look more often.

Instructions
1. With your fingertips, dab the MAC Strobe Cream beneath your eyes and above your brows. Blend in with the widest part of the blending sponge. Repeat with the bridge of your nose, above your cupid’s bow and on your chin.
2. Use the widest part of the blending sponge to dab foundation evenly across your face.
3. Rub the widest part of the blending sponge into the second darkest pot of the RCMA KO Series Part 5 Palette or the contouring palette of your choice. Dab across your chin and between your nose and lips.
4. Apply concealer beneath the corners of your eyes, between your eyebrows and along the bridge of your nose. Blend in with the narrowest part of the blending sponge.
5. With the powder brush, dab the MAC Mineralize Skin Finish across your face.
6. With a bronzer brush, sweep bronzer across the top of your forehead and below your cheekbones. Use a fluffy eye shadow brush or another small detail brush to add bronzer on either side of the bridge of your nose.
7. With a blush brush, sweep blush on top of your cheeks, across your forehead and lightly down the bridge of your nose.
8. Fill in your brows with brow powder and an angled brow brush. Go back with the eyebrow cream-gel and the angled brush to outline and give more shape to your brows.
9. Load the same contouring makeup you used in step 3 onto a large eye shadow brush. Use it as a primer on your eyelids all the way up to your brow bone.
10. With a small eye shadow brush, cover your eyelid with MAC Eye Shadow in “All That Glitters” or a light ivory-gold shadow.
11. Use the same brush to add a matte tan shadow to your crease.
12. Using a large shadow brush, dab MAC Dazzleshadow Liquid in “Flash and Dash” or another gold cream shadow to the middle of your lid.
13. With a highlighter brush, add highlighter to the top of your cheekbones, the middle of your forehead, along the bridge of your nose and to the corner of your eyes.
14. With liquid eyeliner, carefully line your eyes above your upper lashes.
15. Apply mascara to your upper and lower lashes, then apply false eyelashes. Allow the lash glue to set.
16. Generously line your lips with a lip pencil. Add more color within the outline than you usually would, or until you’ve filled in your lips about halfway with the lip pencil.
17. Dab the lip paint onto your lips with your fingertip. Wrap a tissue around your fingertip, then blot the corners and edges of your lips.
18. Load the contouring makeup from step 3 onto your fingertip. Dab it around the corners and edges of your lips to give them a soft, diffused look.
