Celebrate with our festive monstera leaf manicure

In our work-driven society, it's not uncommon to spend all summer chained to a desk rather than outside enjoying the sun. While you might not be able to drag your nose away from the proverbial grindstone this summer, you can take steps to bring the outside in.
Reminiscent of tropical resorts and warm island breezes, the monstera leaf manicure will make you think you're on a permanent vacation. Plus, the chain art and gold beads are whimsical enough to liven even the most staid of offices. Try this style out the next time you're feeling blue.

Instructions
1. Paint the entire surface of the nail using Canni Nail Art gel in 610.
2. Dry polish using a Lumcrissy gel lamp.
3. Apply a second coat of Canni Nail Art gel 610.
4. Using Perfect Summer dark blue jelly polish in 012, paint several swirls atop the nail's surface. Blend with a comb brush.
5. Dry polish using a Lumcrissy gel lamp.
6. Using a toothpick, put some Elite 99 white drawing gel in 5603 onto a Post-It Note. Add a dab of Canni Nail Art gel in 547 and mix thoroughly. The resulting shade should be a soft, pale coral.
7. Use an angle brush to create several leaf-shaped coral patches on the nail. Brush over each patch with a comb brush. Then brush over the patches again with a liner brush.
8. Use the dotting tool to draw lines around the outer permitter of the patches, creating a leaf-like pattern. You can use the angle brush to emphasize the lines.
9. Dry polish using a Lumcrissy gel lamp.
10. Apply nail glue to the base of the nail near the cuticle in a semi-circle.
11. Using the dotting tool, lay a small piece of colorful chain along the nail base. Place a small gold bead at either end of the chain.
12. Dry glue using a Lumcrissy gel lamp.
13. Cover nails with a coat of Cheri Non-Wipe Gel Top Coat.
