Vintage band tee inspired nail art tutorial

When attempting nail art at home, trying to find suitable inspiration is really half of the battle. Many nail art designs are intrinsically more girly and polished, which may not suit your overall vibe. But looking for inspiration in less likely places can help you find a more offbeat nail art design that feels a little bit more "you."
One super cool place to go for nail art inspiration is you own wardrobe. After all, if you match your nails to your clothing style, you can be sure they'll always match your look. And one item ripe for a nail art emulation? The vintage band tee. The distressed look, neutral colors, and rock 'n' roll edge will take your nail art to the next level.

Instructions
1. Paint your nails with a base coat of black gel polish with a short round brush, then allow to dry under your UV light.
2. Use a liner brush to add some white accents on each of the nails for a paint splattered effect. We used the Mission Control White Gel in 'Fizz.'
3. On top of the white accents, add some golden accents with a liner brush. We used the Fairyglo Gel Polish in shade 6718. Cure the nail polish again under a lamp.
4. Go back in with your golden shade to intensify in certain sections. Cure once more.
5. Apply a clear top coat (we used the Kupa Non Wipe Gel Top Coat). While still wet, take a mouth charm and use the polish to adhere it to the nail.
6. Allow to dry under your lamp for the final time, then enjoy your new casual and cool nail designs.
