Soak up some sun with this beach blanket manicure

The research is in, and coastal living has been associated with an uptick in mental health. Unfortunately, many of us can't afford to take a trip to the seaside every time we're down in the dumps. If you want to feel better on a budget, consider taking a metaphorical visit to the ocean with this beach blanket manicure.

Materials
- Elite99 Color Gel, 1433
- Lumcrissy gel lamp
- FairyGlo, 6705 and 6718
- Marartt, crystal green and crystal rose red
- Comb brush
- Dotting tool
- Liner brush
- Elite99 Drawing Gel, 5604
- Cheri Non-Wipe Top Coat

Instructions
1. Paint the entire surface of the nail using Gelpolish Soak Off gel polish in white.
2. Dry the polish using a Lumcrissy gel lamp.
3. Using FairyGlo 6718, paint a stripe across the lower part of the nail just above the base.
4. Using FairyGlo 6705, paint another stripe above the first one, toward the middle of the nail.
5. Paint the tip of the nail with Marartt crystal rose red polish.
6. Use a comb brush to blend and spread the color slightly for each section. The end result should be soft and muted.
7. Dry polish using a Lumcrissy gel lamp.
8. Paint a light stripe of Marartt crystal green between the bottom and middle stripes.
9. Dry the polish using a Lumcrissy gel lamp.
10. Using a dotting tool, draw a thin line along the bottom of the lower stripe using Elite99 Drawing Gel in 5604. Draw two additional thin lines above the blue stripe and two beneath the pink stripe.
11. Blend the polish using the comb brush. There should be faded black lines extending through all the color stripes.
12. Using a liner brush, add additional black lines as desired.
13. Dry the polish using a Lumcrissy gel lamp.
14. Cover the entire nail surface with Cheri Non-Wipe Top Coat.
15. Dry the polish using a Lumcrissy gel lamp.

16. Paint the other nails using the colors featured in the stripes.
