These three facial oil hacks will save you money on makeup

Even if your makeup budget is substantial, you probably want to get your money’s worth out of every single product. For some people, makeup is a luxury, but for others it’s a must-have. If you’re looking to stretch your makeup dollar or find ways to make products pull double duty, this tutorial will give you three new ways to do just that.
For instance, brow pomade tends to dry out because the jar is frequently left open while you apply the product. Adding a few drops of facial oil can solve that problem. And what if you want to switch from a matte foundation to a dewy one, but don’t have the dough? Facial oil to the rescue. Finally, if you love the shine of metallic or foil eye shadow, you can create one at home by adding – you guessed it – facial oil to an existing shade.

Fierce League
1. To revive dry brow pomade, add 2-3 drops of facial oil to the product.
2. Mix the oil into the pomade with a toothpick, or simply swirl your angled brow brush in the product to revive the naturally creamy consistency.
3. Fill in and define your brows by applying pomade with an angled brow brush.
4. Make matte foundation dewy instantly by applying liquid foundation to a metal mixing palette along with one or two drops of facial oil.
5. Blend foundation and oil together with a mixing spatula.
6. Use a damp beauty sponge to apply foundation to your face.
7. Hack your eye shadow by placing a metal mixing palette on a flat surface.
8. Gently scrape the eye shadow pigment onto the palette with the flat end of a mixing spatula. Tip: To create a custom color, like the one shown in the video, combine multiple colors in this step.
9. Add two drops of facial oil to the eye shadow “dust,” and stir the products together with the spatula until thoroughly combined.
10. Apply the mixture to your eyelids with the small eye shadow brush.
