Create a fall-friendly look with fluttery lashes and strong brows

Autumn is a fascinating season. The leaves turn shades of gold and brown then waft to the ground with a passing breeze. If you’ve ever spent a few minutes watching them fluttering to earth, you know their gentle motion can be utterly captivating.
If you’re looking to mimic their myriad hues and subtle movement with makeup, then the following tutorial will help you do it. Defined brows and a pair of glamorous false lashes make this monochromatic makeup look stand out. You don’t even need an eye shadow palette.

Instructions
1. Fill in sparse brows and define their shape with brow pomade and an angled eyebrow brush.
2. Clean up the brow outline by applying foundation with a concealer brush. Slowly drag the brush under the brow bone, then sweep the brush above the brows and in between them as well.
3. Press the foundation into the skin with a damp beauty sponge.
4. Apply foundation to the rest of your face with a foundation brush, and then press a damp beauty sponge against the skin to absorb the excess makeup.
5. Warm up your cheeks by brushing matte bronzing powder onto the upper forehead, temples and cheeks with a cheek brush.
6. To coordinate your eye makeup, use the same bronzer and a fluffy blending brush to define the crease of the eye. Sweep the brush in windshield wiper motions to distribute the color.
7. Layer golden brown shimmer bronzer over the eyelid crease and below the lower lashes with a medium eye shadow brush.
8. Gently curl your lashes with an eyelash curler, and then apply one or two coats of black mascara to your upper and lower lashes.
9. Hold the false lashes with your fingers, then apply a small amount of lash glue onto the lash band. Let the glue set for 10 seconds, then apply the lashes just above your upper lash line.
10. For added drama, line the upper and lower lash lines with black liquid eyeliner.
11. Fill in the upper and lower waterlines with black eyeliner pencil.
12. Lip pencil keeps color from feathering into the fine lines around the mouth, so line your lips with earthen red lip pencil first, and then fill them in with rosy-brown lip gloss.
13. To keep your makeup in place, mist your face with setting spray. Tip: Hold the bottle 6 to 8 inches away from your face to prevent droplets from forming on your skin.
